Shashirekha Shetty M is the name of this operation. We are tucked away at 318 Basaveshwara Nagar on Assaye Road. It’s a decent spot. We’ve been here long enough that the local tea stall guy knows my order by heart. The office is a bit small, and the stairs are a little steep, so you have to watch your step coming up. We handle a lot of different things throughout the week. It’s mostly just keeping the books straight and making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes the internet goes out when it rains, which is annoying, but we manage. I’ve always preferred working in Basaveshwara Nagar because it feels more like a home than a business district. The trees on Assaye Road give some nice shade in the afternoons. I try to keep the windows open when it’s not too dusty outside. We don’t have a big team or anything. It’s just a few of us making sure things don't fall apart. People ask why we don't move to a bigger place, but this one works just fine for now. It’s got character. You might hear the traffic from the street, but it’s not too loud. We just focus on the task at hand. There’s no point in making things more complicated than they need to be. Just a simple place for simple work. We are usually here from morning until the sun goes down.
