About Sharmas Institute Of Fine Arts – Art & Craft in Bengaluru
We've been at the White House in Mahalaxmi Puram for quite some time now. If you're looking for us, we’re right near Panchavati Circle at 817. It’s a busy spot but once you get inside the studio, it gets a bit quieter. Most days you’ll find us surrounded by canvases, half-finished clay models, and probably a few paint spills on the floor. We aren't really big on fancy decorations here because the art usually does that for us. People come by after work or school to get their hands dirty with some sketching or oil painting. It’s not a high-pressure environment at Sharmas Institute Of Fine Arts. We just like to see people figure out how to draw a straight line or mix a color that doesn't look like mud. The light in this building is actually pretty good for working, which helps a lot during the afternoons. Sometimes we have tea while waiting for things to dry. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who know our way around a brush. If you ever find yourself wandering around Panchavati Circle, you might see the sign. We’ve had students who have been coming here for years, and some who just drop in for a week to see if they like it. It’s just how things go here. We keep the doors open and try to stay organized, even if the supply closet is always a bit of a mess.
