Shantipriya Pan House

We’ve been here at Chickpet 1546 for a while now. Most days start with me opening the shutters early before the crowd hits Raviwar Peth 1. It gets pretty loud outside. People stop by Shantipriya Pan House after they eat or while they're just walking through. I keep the counter clean as much as I can, but with so many people coming in and out, it's a bit of a job. Sometimes the supply of leaves arrives late and I have to wait around. That’s just how it goes here. It isn't a huge place, just a small spot where folks grab what they need. I see the same faces every afternoon. We chat about the weather or how busy the street is. It gets dusty, but that is part of being in this area. Sometimes I forget to restock certain things and have to run out. My neighbor helps keep an eye on things when I step away. There isn't much to say about us, really. We just do our thing every day from morning until late evening. If you are around Raviwar Peth, you probably saw our sign. It’s been there for years. The floor needs a bit of a scrub today. I'll get to it after the lunch rush slows down. It’s just a normal shop, nothing fancy or special about it. We just keep the pan ready and the small talk going for whoever stops by.
