Selvi Thirunavukkarasu

Located near the police station in Srirampuram, PK Nilayam is where I work from at number 118. It is a busy corner of the city. People stop by when they are in the area. It is a family-run sort of thing. Nothing fancy here. Just regular days dealing with whatever the neighborhood needs. Being at PK Nilayam means everyone in the neighborhood knows where we are. It is a house that we turned into a workspace. It feels like home because it actually is one. We deal with various local tasks. Sometimes it feels like we are just helping out neighbors more than running a business. Srirampuram is a crowded place and our street gets its fair share of foot traffic. We have been here for years, so the walls have seen a lot of change. There is no air conditioning, just the windows open to let in the breeze and the city sounds. Sometimes the police station nearby gets very busy and the whole street feels the energy. We have a few desks and some old chairs for anyone who stops by to chat about their requirements. It is not a high-tech operation. We use notebooks and pens for most of our tracking. My family helps out when things get busy. We do not have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy emails. We just talk to people face to face. It is a bit old-fashioned but it works for the people living around here.
