Sapthagiri Provision Store

Sapthagiri Provision Store is a small shop located at 472 Nagasandra, right in the heart of Chokha Bazar. We are very close to the Kabutar Khana, so you can always hear the pigeons and see them flying around the street. Being near the 8th Milestone Busstop means we get a lot of people dropping in while they are waiting for their ride home. It is a busy little corner of the world. We sell the usual things people need for their kitchens and homes, like bags of rice, lentils, and different types of cooking oil. The shop is quite narrow, and we have shelves crammed from the floor all the way to the top. Sometimes it is a bit of a struggle to reach the things on the highest shelves, but we manage with a small stool. We don’t have any fancy computers for the bills; we just write everything down in a notebook and use a small calculator. It’s the way we have always done it here in Chokha Bazar. The street outside is always noisy with carts and people shouting, but inside we just focus on helping whoever is standing at the counter. We know most of the families who live in Nagasandra because they have been buying their supplies from us for years. We aren't trying to be a big supermarket. We are just a local provision store where you can get what you need quickly and have a short chat before you go.
