Santosh Maghai

You will find Santosh Maghai at 164 Chickpet Cubbonpet Main Road, right near 14th Cross. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets. It is always loud and there are people everywhere. We have been at this location for a long time now. The shop is small and old, but it serves its purpose. We deal with customers all day long, and it can get pretty tiring. There is not much room to move around inside when it gets busy. We just keep our heads down and do our work. Chickpet is a maze of streets and it can be hard to find us if it is your first time here. We are right there on the main road though, so that helps a bit. The building has seen better days, but it is sturdy enough. We do not have any fancy displays or bright lights. It is just a regular shop where we sell what we have. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to this market for years. We know many of them by name. It is a very traditional way of doing business, I suppose. No computers or anything too modern, just a notebook and a pen for the most part. It is how we have always done it and it works just fine for us and the people who shop here. Sometimes the rains leak through the front door but we just mop it up.
