Our dance spot is situated in Koramangala, specifically at Ganesh Prasad on 3rd Cross. We are right on Shree Rama Temple Road, which is a fairly well-known landmark around here. The studio itself is on the upper floor of the building. It’s a wide-open space with some mirrors on the walls and a wooden floor that has seen a lot of use over the years. We didn't want anything too formal, so the atmosphere is quite relaxed. You can hear the music from the street sometimes when we have a class going. We teach different styles, and people of all ages come by. There’s a small corner where students can leave their bags and water bottles. It gets pretty sweaty in there during the evening sessions, but we keep the windows open to catch the breeze. We don't have a big reception desk or a fancy waiting room. Most parents just wait outside or on the stairs. The building is older, so the plumbing can be a bit temperamental sometimes. It’s a place where people come to move around and have a bit of fun after work or school. We’ve been in this Koramangala location for a while, and the neighborhood knows us by the sound of the drums or the tracks we play. It’s just a simple room dedicated to dancing, nothing more and nothing less. We usually finish up quite late in the evening once the last group heads home.
