Sanjana Ice Cream

You can find Sanjana Ice Cream at 1087, Triveni Road, right by the 5th Cross in Yeshwanthpura. It’s a busy corner of the world. There are always people walking by, heading to the station or the market nearby. We opened up here because we liked how lively the neighborhood felt in the evenings. The shop itself is small, but we managed to fit in three large freezers. During the day, it is mostly just me or my brother sitting here. We listen to the radio and watch the traffic go by on Triveni Road. Around four or five in the afternoon, the kids start showing up after their classes are done. We have to keep the floor clean because they bring in a lot of dust from the street. The 5th Cross can get jammed with cars, so it’s sometimes hard for people to park, but they usually just pull over for a minute to grab something cold. We don't have any big flashy lights or anything like that. Just a simple counter and the cold tubs in the back. Sometimes the delivery truck comes late because of the Bangalore traffic, which can be a bit of a headache for us. But we have been here long enough that we know most of the people who walk past our door every evening. It's just a regular part of Yeshwanthpura life for us, keeping things cold while the city moves around us.
