Salaam Centre

Our place, the Salaam Centre, is located at 65 Jayanagar 1st Main. We are in the SRK Garden area, which is quite close to the Sagar Apollo Hospital. It’s a decent neighborhood to work in. Most of our day is spent handling different books and pieces of literature. We have a lot of visitors who come in because they saw us while going to the hospital or just walking through the garden area. The office isn't very large, so we have to be careful about where we put everything. We have desks piled with papers and some chairs for people to sit if they want to stay and read for a bit. It gets a bit busy in the afternoons when the sun is out, but we have some shade from the nearby trees. We aren't doing anything complicated here. It’s just about making sure the information is available for anyone who wants it. Sometimes the internet acts up or the printer jams, and we have to spend time fixing those little things instead of our regular work. We’ve been at this address for a while, and the locals know where to find us. It’s a simple setup with basic shelves and a small front area. We don’t try to make it look like something it isn't. It’s just a place for people to come and learn.
