Our bookshop is located down in the basement of Lucky Plaza, which you can find on 2nd Cross in Jayanagar 2nd Main. Being down in the basement means it stays a little cooler than it is out on the street, which is nice, but you have to be careful on the stairs when you come down. The place is filled with books and all kinds of printed materials. The first thing most people notice when they walk in is that heavy smell of old and new paper. We have stacks of books all over the place, sometimes reaching quite high. It might look a bit messy, and it can be hard to find a specific book right away, but we usually have a good idea of which pile it is sitting in. It is a very quiet spot, far away from all the loud traffic noise of Jayanagar. People who enjoy reading or those looking for specific religious texts are the ones who usually find their way to us. We do not have any fancy glass display cases, just old wooden shelves that have been here for a long time. We spend a lot of our time just organizing the titles and moving things around to make more space. It is a slow kind of business and we don't like to rush anyone who is browsing. We have a small desk where we sit and handle the books and the payments. It is a simple shop for people who really care about books.
