Maktaba Deeniya

Maktaba Deeniya is situated right on 2 Mosque Road, very close to the Clutter House building. If you know the area, it's pretty easy to spot us when you're walking toward the mosque. We mostly sell books and various religious items that people in the neighborhood look for. The shop isn't very large, but we’ve managed to pack the walls with shelves. It gets a bit tight when a few people are inside at once. During prayer times, the whole street gets very busy with people coming and going. We usually stay open during those hours because that’s when most folks stop by. We have all kinds of texts and smaller items like prayer beads or caps. It’s a quiet place mostly, except when the traffic on Mosque Road gets loud. We’ve been here for a while and know most of the people who live on this side of town. Sometimes people just come in to browse or ask about a specific book they’ve been trying to find. We try to keep things in order but sometimes books get stacked up in corners when new deliveries arrive. It’s just how we manage the space. We don’t have any big signs or anything, just the shop name and the books in the window. It works for us and the people who come here. The address is simple enough for anyone nearby to remember.
