S R Fruit Salad

S R Fruit Salad is our little shop located in Kanakanagar, specifically at Sadar Bazar 41/2. We spend most of our time dealing with fresh fruit every morning. It starts early because the fruit has to be picked up and brought in before the sun gets too high. The shop is small and smells like whatever is in season. We spend a lot of time cutting and prepping things. It’s a busy part of town, so there are always people walking past the door. Being in Sadar Bazar means it never really gets quiet until late at night. We don't have a big menu or anything complicated. We just focus on what we have and try to get it ready for whoever walks in. The walls aren't painted fancy and the chairs are just regular ones we've had for years. It’s just a place to get something cold and fresh. Sometimes we run out of certain fruits if the market didn't have anything good that day. We just tell people that’s how it goes. It’s a very local kind of business. We know the people who live around Kanakanagar and they know us. There isn't much to say beyond that. We keep the counters wiped down and the knives sharp. That is what our day looks like from start to finish. It’s good work and it keeps us busy in the best way possible.
