S L V Provision Stores is located at 18 Bommanahalli, right opposite the Citizen Bakery. We have been here for many years, serving the people who live in this local neighborhood. The shop is usually filled with big sacks of rice, pulses, and all kinds of daily groceries that people need. It is a small space, so things are stacked pretty high on the wooden shelves to make room for everything. Early mornings are usually our busiest time because people come in to get milk and bread before they head off to work. We know most of our customers by their names since they have been buying from us for a long time. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded inside the shop, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading back home. We do not have a supermarket setup with trolleys; it is just a simple counter where you ask for what you need and we pack it for you. We keep a ledger for some of the regulars who like to pay their bills at the end of the month. The floor is often a bit dusty from the grain sacks, and our old fan makes a lot of noise, but it keeps the place cool enough. Across the street, the bakery always smells like fresh cakes, which is nice. We spend our day weighing items and stocking up shelves. It is just a basic shop for the neighborhood's daily needs.
