Ranganayaki Kalamandira

We are situated in Vishveshwaraiah Puram, just east of the NGEF Layout. The address is 21/22 on the 2nd Main Road. Ranganayaki Kalamandira is a place where things actually happen. It is a building that has seen a lot of use over the years. We have some large rooms that get used for all sorts of gatherings. It’s not a fancy venue with a lot of gold trim, just a practical space for the community. The 2nd Main Road can get a bit crowded on the weekends. We spend our time making sure the doors are unlocked and the fans are working before anyone arrives. There’s a small courtyard area that gets some shade in the morning. People often stop by just to ask about the schedule or to see if the space is free. It’s a very local kind of place. We handle the bookings and the cleaning ourselves. You might find some old chairs stacked in the corner or some decorations left over from the last event. It’s a lived-in building. Being east of NGEF Layout makes it a familiar landmark for people living around here. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. It’s a straightforward way to run a place and it seems to work out just fine for everyone involved.
