About R Three Art Gallery – Art & Craft in Bengaluru
We opened up R Three Art Gallery a while back on Kengeri Parimal Cross Road 26/3 because there wasn't much for art lovers around this part of town. It started out small. Just a few rooms with white walls that we painted ourselves over a long weekend. People come in and ask if we're open, and usually, we are, unless we've stepped out for tea. The floors get dusty because of the construction nearby, but the paintings still look good under the lights. We aren't fancy people. Most days, you'll find us just shifting frames around or trying to fix a leaky tap in the back. It’s a quiet spot. It gets busy on Saturdays when families walk past after lunch. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. If you're looking for the place, it's right there on the cross road, easy to miss if you're driving too fast. Sometimes we host little shows, and it gets crowded, which is nice for a change. We keep things pretty simple here. No big speeches or anything like that. Just some art on the walls and a place to sit if your feet are tired. We’ve been at 26/3 for a bit now and the neighbors know us. It’s just how we like it, tucked away where it’s calm. People sometimes stay for hours just talking about the colors. We don't mind. It feels like home to us.
