R Nandakumar

I'm Nandakumar and you can find me at 886 Indira Nagar. This place is right in the Gorapadi Peth area, tucked away near the Solar Co-operative and across from the High School. Being near a school means it gets really loud when the bells ring and all the kids come running out. I’ve been working out of this spot for years. The building is a bit old, but it has character. I usually start my day by checking the mail and making sure the front area is clean. It’s a small operation here. I don't really do much advertising because people usually just find me through word of mouth or because they live in the neighborhood. The afternoon sun hits the front window pretty hard, so I usually have to pull the shades down around 2 o'clock. Sometimes the internet acts up, which is frustrating, but we manage. My desk is always a bit of a mess with notebooks and pens everywhere. I like being in Indira Nagar because everything is close by. If I need a spare part or some stationery, I just walk a couple of blocks. It’s a steady kind of life. I don’t plan on moving anywhere else anytime soon. The regulars know I’m usually here until late evening. It's just a regular local business doing what we can every day. I like the routine of it all, even the noisy parts. It makes the day go by faster for me.
