Pret Stitch Boutique

Pret Stitch Boutique is tucked away in the 8th Block of Koramangala on 20th Main. This part of the neighborhood is a bit quieter than the main commercial hubs but still has plenty of people walking around. We have a small shop where we focus on stitching and boutique wear for the women living in the area. Most of our day is taken up by measuring and marking fabrics or talking to people about how they want their clothes to fit. It is a hands-on kind of place. We have sewing machines going in the back and the sound of the needle is pretty constant throughout the day. The racks are full of half-finished projects and new fabrics waiting to be cut. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. It is just a few of us who know how to handle a thread and needle. People usually bring their own ideas and we try to make sense of them. The shop can get a bit cluttered with scraps of cloth and thread but that is just how it is when you are making things. We have a mirror in the corner for fittings and a small desk where we keep our books. It is a simple business on a nice street in Koramangala where we know our neighbors. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
