Che' Travels

Our office is tucked away in Gayathrinagar, over in Rajajinagar 2nd Stage. It’s a bit of a maze back here in 'C' Block on 5th Cross, but we’ve been at 3328/1/1 for a long time. We handle travel bookings and things like that. Most days it’s just us on the phones or computers, checking on buses, trains, and planes. It’s a small space. We have some old maps on the wall that probably need replacing, and the desks are getting a bit worn out. But it works for what we do. People from the neighborhood drop by when they want to go somewhere and don't want to mess with the internet themselves. We know the routes around Bangalore and beyond. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour, so we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s not a big corporate travel agency. It’s just us. We deal with tickets and itineraries every day. It gets busy during the holidays, but the rest of the year is steady. We’ve seen the streets outside change a lot over the years, but we’re still here in the same spot. We just try to help people get from one place to another without too much trouble. It's a straightforward business. We don't have a fancy lobby, just a couple of chairs for people to wait.
