Al-Beher Design Boutique

We’ve been based at 22 I Cross in the Madarsab Layout for a while now. It is a busy little corner of New Gurappana Palya. People mostly know us for the design work we do here at Al-Beher. It all started out pretty small and to be honest, it hasn't changed all that much. The shop is not huge, but we make it work with what we have. Most days it is just us figuring out patterns and dealing with piles of fabric. Some days are definitely more chaotic than others, especially when a few orders come in at the same time. We don't really do the whole fancy office thing with glass walls. It is more of a practical workspace where things actually happen. The neighbors all know where to find us. Usually, you will see a few of us drinking tea outside on the steps when there is a short break in the work. The layout of the shop is a bit cramped, but it feels like home to us. We have seen the area change quite a bit over the years. New buildings are always going up and there is more traffic on the main road than there used to be. But our place stays pretty much the same. We just keep our heads down and get the stitching and design stuff done. If someone walks in, we try to help them out. We are not really the type to stand at the door waving people in.
