We set up shop on Bel Main Road because it’s always busy around here. It gets crowded during the lunch hour and again when people are heading home from work in the evening. The kitchen isn't very big, so things can get a little hectic when several orders come in at once. We spend a lot of time cleaning the fryers and prepping the seafood before we open. It’s a lot of work getting everything ready for the day. The smell of oil and spices usually hangs in the air, which is expected for a place like ours. We have a few tables, but a lot of people just grab their food and head out to their cars. The traffic on the main road can be a real headache, especially when delivery bikes are trying to park in the narrow spaces. We try to keep the menu simple so we don’t get confused back there during the rush. Sometimes we run out of certain things if the morning delivery is late, but that’s just how it goes sometimes. It’s mostly just us trying to keep up with the orders. The floor is tile and we mop it constantly because it gets greasy near the counter. We aren't trying to be a five-star restaurant or anything like that. The sidewalk is always uneven right in front of our door, so we have to tell people to watch their step.
