Poshop Islamic Boutique

We started Poshop Islamic Boutique on the 3rd floor of the Senate building right on Mosque Road. It is quite busy down there on the street especially during certain times of the year but things are usually quieter up here in the shop. People find us because they live nearby in Frazer Town or come for the mosque down the way. Most days it is just us hanging up new items and sorting through the boxes that come in. We have various styles of abayas and other modest pieces folded on the shelves or hanging on the rails. Sometimes the lift works and sometimes people just take the stairs to get up to the third floor to see us. It is a simple place really. We spend a lot of time talking to the ladies who drop by after their regular shopping. We try to keep track of what people are asking for so we can try to find it for the next time they visit. The space isn't huge but it fits everything we need for now. It gets very bright in the afternoons when the sun hits the windows. We usually have the radio on or just the sound of the traffic from the road below. It is just a local business trying to keep things going. We have been here for a bit now and know many of the regulars by name. They know where to find us when they need something.
