About Painter Gallery Of Fine Arts – Art & Craft in Bengaluru
Painter Gallery Of Fine Arts is located over in Koramangala VI Block. Our specific spot is at 26/1, Survey No 466, on the first floor of the Gullantappa Building. We are very close to the Ejipura Signal, which is a bit of a nightmare for traffic but makes us easy to locate. The gallery is up a flight of stairs, away from the street level noise. It’s a space filled with canvases, frames, and the faint smell of oil paint and turpentine. We have been here in Koramangala for quite a while now. The light in the room is alright for looking at art, though we sometimes have to move things around. It’s not a massive, white-walled museum-style place. It’s more of a working gallery where things are a bit cluttered. We spend our days hanging new pieces or talking to the few people who wander up from the signal. The Gullantappa Building is a regular commercial block, and we are just one of the units inside. Sometimes we are busy with a new exhibition, and other times it’s very quiet and we just sit and work on our own projects. Koramangala has changed so much with all the new cafes, but this corner near Ejipura still feels like the old neighborhood. We don't have a big marketing plan. People just see the sign and come up to see what we have on the walls. It is a simple life centered around the art we have.
