New Mysore Ghee Store

New Mysore Ghee Store is at 30/ 3 on Chamrajpet Masjid Road. We are very close to Uma Theatre, which is a big landmark around here. The smell of ghee is something you notice as soon as you get near our door. It is a small shop, but it is always full of tins and containers. We have been in this part of Chamrajpet for a long time, and the building shows its age a little. There is a lot of activity on Masjid Road, especially in the evenings when people are heading to the theater or just walking home. We spend a lot of time weighing out ghee and talking to the regulars who have been coming to us for years. It is a simple trade, and we don't try to make it anything more than it is. The shelves are mostly filled with different sizes of containers, and we have a small counter where we handle the cash and the books. It gets quite warm in the middle of the day, so we usually have a small fan running in the corner. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights, just the products and the plain walls of the shop. Living and working in this neighborhood means we are part of the daily bustle. It is a humble kind of business, and we are just here to sell ghee to the local community.
