About Nandini Milk Parlour – Food & Beverages in Bengaluru
Being on Magadi Road means we get the early morning rush every single day at Nandini Milk Parlour. Before the sun is even up, the crates are being unloaded and the first customers are already waiting for their milk packets. It’s a fast-paced way to start the morning. We don’t just sell milk; we’ve got curd, ghee, and those little sweets that kids always ask for. The shop isn’t very big, so things get a bit cramped when five people are trying to buy butter at the same time. We know most of the people living in the nearby blocks. You see the same faces every day, some still in their pajamas, others rushing to catch a bus. We try to keep the coolers running right so the milk stays cold even when the power cuts out, which happens more than we’d like. The floor usually has a few wet spots from the condensation, but we mop it when there’s a break in the crowd. There’s no fancy decor here, just the blue and white signs and the shelves stocked with dairy. Working here at Magadi Road is mostly about being reliable. People need their morning tea, so we have to be open. It’s a simple job, really. We count the change, stack the packets, and chat about the weather with whoever stops by. It’s just our little corner of the neighborhood, and it stays busy until we close up.
