Nandini Milk Parlour

Working in the Peenya Industrial Area means we are surrounded by factories and big warehouses. Our Nandini Milk Parlour is a little spot where the workers and drivers can get something fresh. We open very early because the shifts in this area start at all hours. You see people in their uniforms coming by for a packet of milk to take home or a cold buttermilk because it gets quite hot and dusty out here. The trucks are always rumbling past our door, so it is never really quiet. We have our refrigerators lined up with all the milk and milk products. It is a basic setup with a counter and the crates stacked in the corner. We don't have much space for people to hang around, so they usually just grab what they need and go. We know a lot of the security guards and the guys who work in the nearby plants. They stop by for a quick break. The area doesn't have many shops like ours, so we stay pretty busy throughout the day. When the delivery truck arrives, we have to move fast to get everything inside before the sun gets too high. It is a hardworking part of town and we feel like we fit right in. We just focus on keeping the milk cold and serving the people who work in Peenya. It is a simple life.
