Nagababu Arts

Our shop is located at 61/2 in Electronic City, right near Mithchowki on Marve Road. We are in the Nirmala Devi Complex, which is very close to the bus stop. It is a busy spot with people always rushing to catch their buses. We have been here for a good amount of time now, doing all sorts of art and sign work. Most of the time we are busy with brushes, paints, or cutting out letters for someone’s shop sign. It is a bit cramped in here because of all the boards and materials we keep in stock. You will often see us working on something spread out on the floor because the tables are full. We do not really do much in the way of advertising; the work we do for the shops around here usually brings in new people. It is a loud area with the traffic and the bus stand so close, but you get used to it after a while. I have always liked drawing and making things, so this felt like a natural way to make a living. Sometimes a customer comes in with a vague idea and we have to spend a lot of time sketching it out until they are happy. We do not use fancy computers for everything; a lot of it is still done by hand because it just looks better that way. It is a lot of hard work but we enjoy it.
