Mysore Provision Store

We’ve been sitting here at 4/2 in Ganganagar for a good while now. Being right across from the Mecca Masjid means we see a lot of people every day, especially during prayer times. It's a busy corner of Bangalore. The shop isn't huge, but we pack in as many provisions as we can. From dals to different kinds of rice, we try to have what the neighbors are looking for. Sometimes the 2nd Cross gets a bit crowded with parked scooters, but that’s just part of living here. We open early in the morning before most people are even awake to get things ready. It’s mostly just about keeping the ledger straight and making sure the bins are full. We don’t really do any big advertising or anything fancy. People just know we’re here because they’ve been coming to us for years. If a bag of flour breaks, we clean it up and move on. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but seeing the regulars makes it alright. We have some people who have been buying from us since we first started. The 560032 area is home to us. You can usually find one of us sitting behind the counter or stacking some new packets that just arrived. It’s not a polished place, but it works for the people around here. We just try to keep the basics in stock. There is always something to do.
