Our shop is at Building 229 on 4th Cross, right on Saw Mill Road. If you know the Hal 3rd Stage area, you’ve probably walked past us a hundred times. We’re really close to the Ganesh Temple in New Thippasandra, so we get a lot of people passing by after they finish their prayers. It’s a noisy street because of the sawmill work nearby, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of wood being cut all day long. The shop is packed with stuff from the floor to the ceiling. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, it’s hard to keep up with all the bags and boxes. Every morning we sweep the front step and set out the displays. It’s a small space, so things can get a bit tight when more than three people are inside at once. We know most of the people who live in the neighborhood by their first names or at least by what they usually buy. It’s just us here most of the time, making sure the shelves aren't empty and chatting with the regulars about the weather or the traffic on Saw Mill Road. The temple bells ring at certain times of the day, and it’s a nice sound to hear while we’re working. We don't have any big corporate plans, we just stay open until late to make sure everyone can get what they need. It is a simple life here in the market.
