Muktha Art Corner

Muktha Art Corner sits on Vijaya Nagar Ram Mandir Road 19. If you walk inside, you’ll see shelves crowded with all sorts of things—paints, brushes, papers, and frames. It’s a bit of a squeeze because we try to fit a lot into a small space. We started this because we liked art and realized there weren't many places around here to get the right supplies without traveling across the city. It’s not a sterile, perfectly organized shop. There’s usually a bit of charcoal dust on the floor and some half-finished projects leaning against the walls in the back. People come in looking for a specific shade of blue or a certain kind of pencil, and we usually have to dig around a bit to find it. We know most of the artists in the neighborhood by now, and it’s nice when they stop by just to chat about what they’re working on. Ram Mandir Road can be quite busy, especially in the evenings, but inside it’s usually a bit quieter. We handle the framing ourselves in the back, and you can often hear the sound of the saw or the hammer going. It’s a bit messy, and our signs are hand-painted, but we like it that way. We aren't trying to be a big chain store. We’re just a local shop in Vijaya Nagar where you can find what you need for your next project, or just browse the shelves for a while.
