Mona Arts & Crafts

Our shop is right on Mahatma Gandhi Road, just a short walk from the Shrungar Shopping Centre. We have been at number 27 for quite some time. If you walk inside, you will see rows of shelves packed with all sorts of things for making stuff. It is a bit crowded sometimes because we try to keep a lot in stock. There are paints, brushes, and different types of paper everywhere. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what you need, but we usually know where everything is buried. People from the neighborhood come in looking for school project supplies or just something to do on the weekend. It gets busy in the evenings when everyone is out walking on MG Road. The lighting inside isn't the brightest, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time unpacking boxes and putting things back where they belong after customers have a look. It isn't a big corporate store, just a local place where we like seeing what people are creating. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. We just open up in the morning and wait to see who comes in. It’s a bit dusty with all the glitter and wood pieces around, but that’s just how an art shop is. We’re happy to be part of the street here and keep things simple for everyone. Mona Arts & Crafts has been part of the local scenery for a while now.
