Mona Arts & Crafts Emporium

Our shop is located at 27 Off Sinhagad Road, right near Mahatma Gandhi Road. It is a bit of a squeeze inside because we have so many things tucked into every corner. We have been selling arts and crafts for a long time. You will find boxes piled up and shelves that are probably a bit too full. We don't have a big marketing team or anything, just us making sure things are where they should be. MG Road is always humming with people, so we get a fair amount of foot traffic coming through the door. Sometimes the floor gets a bit muddy when it rains, and we are forever sweeping it out. We have all sorts of handmade items, some from local people and others from further away. It is not a polished showroom. It feels more like a workshop or a storage room that people happen to walk into. We try to help people find what they need, even if it’s buried under something else. The lighting isn't the best in the back, but we manage. My hands are usually stained with a bit of ink or paint from moving things around. We just like having a shop where people can browse through odd bits and pieces without feeling rushed. It is a bit disorganized at times, but that is just how we work.
