Manjunath Provision Stores

Manjunath Provision Stores is located in Adhishakthi Nagar, right by the Chalkere Gate. This store has been part of my life for a very long time. It is a basic provision shop where we sell things like rice, dal, soap, and other daily necessities that people in the neighborhood need. The shop is quite small, and the shelves are packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of items. Sometimes it is hard to find things, but I know exactly where everything is kept. It’s a one-man show most of the time, though my son helps me in the evenings after his classes. We don't have a computerized billing system or anything fancy like the big supermarkets. I just use a calculator and a notebook to keep track of the sales. People from Adhishakthi Nagar come here not just to shop, but to have a quick chat about the weather or the local news. The Chalkere Gate area is always bustling, and the noise of the traffic is something I’ve grown used to over the years. We stay open late into the night because we know someone might realize they forgot to buy milk or sugar at the last minute. It’s a lot of standing on my feet, but I enjoy seeing the familiar faces every day. We are just a simple local store trying to provide what the community needs at a fair price.
