Mahalakshmi Provision Stores

If you live in BTM Layout, you might know Mahalakshmi Provision Stores. We are over in Nalasopara East, at number 27. This is a typical neighborhood shop. We sell the things people need every day like rice, soap, and snacks. It’s a small space, so things are crammed onto the shelves. We know most of our customers by their first names. We know who likes which brand of tea and who usually forgets their wallet. It’s been our family business for a long time. The floor is a bit worn out from all the walking. We don't have a computer system. We just use a paper pad to add up the totals. Sometimes the kids from the school nearby come in for candy and make a lot of noise. It keeps the place feeling alive. We open very early in the morning so people can get what they need before work. We don't close until late at night. It’s a long day, but we like being part of the community here in Nalasopara East. There’s no fancy air conditioning, just a small fan behind the counter. We don't have a website or a delivery app. If you want something, you just walk over and ask. We try to keep everything in stock, but sometimes the truck is late. People understand how it works. It’s a simple shop for simple needs. We just try to keep the shelves full and the lights on every day.
