About Madhusri Fine Arts – Art & Craft in Bengaluru
Madhusri Fine Arts is tucked away in Sahakara Nagar. We are based in Parshuram Nagar Society at number 1642. It’s more of a workshop space than a fancy gallery. We have paints, brushes, and canvases everywhere you look. It gets a bit messy with all the supplies, but that's art for you. We don't have a fancy showroom for people to walk through. We just work on our projects and help others with theirs. The society is a nice, quiet place to be. We spend a lot of time sitting and working on small details of a painting. Sometimes we get frustrated when a piece doesn't turn out quite right. It’s not a big commercial operation. It’s just a small space dedicated to fine arts. We have been here for a while. People from around Sahakara Nagar come by sometimes to see what we're doing. We don't do much advertising. The work speaks for itself, or it doesn't. We just keep at it every day. The floors have some permanent paint stains, and the shelves are crowded with jars. It feels like a real place where things are actually made by hand. We don't use fancy terms to describe our work. We just call it what it is. It's a quiet life for the most part, except for when we have a lot of students over for a lesson. We just enjoy the process of making things.
