Madhrai Icecream Corner

Our little corner at 1210/D on Nagarbhavi Main Road has been around for a bit. It’s called Madhrai Icecream Corner, though most people just call it the ice cream shop by the junction. We have a few benches outside where people sit when the weather is nice. The shop itself is quite small, so it gets cramped if more than five people come in at once. We don't have those fancy touchscreens or anything. You just tell us what you want and we scoop it out. The menu is written on a chalkboard that I try to update when I have the time. Sometimes the chalk smudges. We get a lot of families on the weekends. It’s nice to see the same faces. I handle the orders and my wife helps out when it gets busy in the evenings. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town. We just want to make sure the ice cream is cold and the cones aren't stale. Sometimes we run out of chocolate early, which can be annoying for some, but we try our best to keep up. It's a simple life running a shop like this. We live close by, so it’s easy to get here and get things started every day. We usually sweep the sidewalk in front of the shop every morning and clear away any trash left behind.
