M R G Milk Khova Co

We are M R G Milk Khova Co, located at Shivaji Nagar Kondhwa Road 4. The work starts really early here because the milk arrives before most people are even awake. It’s a warm place because the big pans are always simmering to make the khova. We spend a lot of time stirring so nothing burns on the bottom of the pots. It’s heavy work and it gets very humid inside the shop during the day. Our address at number 4 is easy to spot because of the steam coming out of the vents. We don’t have a big marketing team or a fancy office in the city. It’s just us, the milk, and the heat. Sometimes the delivery vans are late and we have to wait around, but usually, it’s a steady rhythm for us. The floors are concrete and we wash them down constantly to keep things tidy. We’ve been in Shivaji Nagar for a good while, so we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit around us over the years. People know us for being reliable, even if the building looks a bit old and worn now. We don’t go in for fancy labels or colored packaging. The focus is usually on getting the texture right and making sure the batches are done on time for the customers. Manual labor is part of the deal here, and at the end of the day, we’re all pretty tired but it's okay. Moving forward is what we do.
