M M Arts

M M Arts is tucked away at 43 Seshadripuram 10 Main, in the HAL 3rd Stage. We are actually right behind the Nataraj Theatre, so that is usually the easiest way to find us if you are coming from the main road. The space is a bit of a muddle most days, with paint, frames, and various art supplies scattered around on the tables. It is a working studio more than anything else. We do not have a fancy showroom, just a place where we get things made. The walls are covered in half-finished projects and old sketches we have kept over the years. It can get a bit dusty with all the materials we use, but that is just how it is when you are working with your hands. We spend our time cutting wood or mixing colors, often losing track of the hours. Sometimes the noise from the theatre crowd filters in, but mostly it is just us working away. People usually drop by because they saw our sign or they have lived in the neighborhood for years. It is a quiet street for the most part, away from the heaviest traffic. We do not have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the tools. We keep a kettle for making tea when we take a break. It is just a small shop doing what we know how to do, day after day, in this little corner of Seshadripuram.
