Lonely Ice Land

We are located in the Mohan Building, right on the busy Thumkur Main Road in Yaswanthpur. If you are driving through, you’ve probably seen us. It’s a loud area with all the trucks and buses going past, but inside it’s much cooler because of all the ice we keep. The name is a bit funny, but we’ve just stuck with it over the years. We handle a lot of different orders, mostly for people who need ice for their small businesses or for parties they’re having nearby. The Mohan Building is an old place, and we occupy a good chunk of the ground floor. We spend most of our time moving crates and checking on the temperature. It’s a practical business, nothing more. We see all sorts of people coming in from the main road. Some are in a hurry and others just want to get out of the heat for a second while we bag their ice. The floor gets quite slippery, so we have to be very careful when we’re walking around. It’s a simple operation where we just focus on making sure the ice is clear and solid. There is always a bit of a cold breeze coming off the storage area when the doors open. We don't have many employees, just a few of us who know how to run the machines. It keeps us busy and we don't have much time for anything else.
