Lakshmi Shinde

Lakshmi Shinde is over at Sanjay Nagar, on Ejipura Road. The house number is 21/1. It’s a tight, busy street in Bangalore where there is always someone moving something or an auto-rickshaw honking. Our place is right there in the thick of it. It’s a small operation. We don’t have a big staff or a fancy office with air conditioning. It’s just a room with a desk, some chairs, and a lot of papers. We know the people in the neighborhood, and they know us. The road outside is usually packed, so getting in and out can be a bit of a struggle sometimes. We’ve got a ceiling fan that makes a bit of noise, and the walls are covered with some old calendars and notes. It’s an honest place where we just handle our daily business. We don't use a lot of high-tech stuff; we mostly just talk to people and write things down. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat for a minute. It’s that kind of place. We have been at 21/1 for a while now. The building is older, and you have to watch your step on the stairs. It’s not a corporate environment at all. It is just a local business on a busy Bangalore road, trying to keep things moving and helping out the people who come through our door. That’s pretty much all there is to it.
