Laddoos

This place is tucked away on Narayan Dhuru Cross Lane 2 just off the main Banneraghatta Road. It’s easy to miss if you aren’t looking for it. We named it Laddoos because that’s the main thing we started with. We spend a lot of time rolling them by hand in the back room. It’s repetitive work but it’s what we do. The lane outside is a bit narrow so parking is always a problem for people. Most of our customers just walk over from the nearby houses. We keep the shop open from early morning until the evening. We have a few shelves where we keep the different types of sweets we’ve finished. We don't use any big machines or anything. It's just us and some basic kitchen tools. Sometimes the delivery of milk is late and that throws off our whole schedule for the morning. We just have to work faster to catch up. The floor is old tile and it’s seen better days but we scrub it down every night. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the city. We just want to make sure the stuff we sell is okay and that people feel like they got their money's worth. It’s a quiet life for the most part except for the traffic noise from the main road. We don't have a lot of space but it works for us and the neighbors seem happy.
