L M Muralidhar

The office is at 1420 Mahalaxmi Puram Municipal Industrial Estate. I started working here a long time ago. It's a busy place with lots of trucks coming in and out of the estate every day. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy because of the machinery nearby, but you get used to it after a few weeks. L M Muralidhar is basically just me and a couple of helpers who have been around for years. We handle things as they come. There isn't a fancy reception area or anything like that. Just a few desks, some filing cabinets that are starting to rust at the edges, and a lot of papers. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, maybe next year. We mostly deal with people from the neighborhood and other units in the industrial area. It’s practical work. No one wears a suit here. Mostly just shirts and trousers that can get a bit dusty by the end of the shift. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a break. It's not a big corporation or anything. We just open up in the morning, do the paperwork, talk to the vendors, and head home when the sun goes down. Most people know us by name around the municipal estate. It’s been that way for a while now. We keep things simple because that’s what works for us and the people we deal with.
