About Keshavarao Srimale – Art & Craft in Bengaluru
I have been working as Keshavarao Srimale from my place at 1556 B in Rajajinagar for quite some time. The best way to find me is to look for Navarang Circle, as I am quite near that landmark. Living and working so close to the circle means there is never a quiet moment. The sound of buses and autos is just part of the background now. My space at 1556 B is where I keep all my tools and papers. It isn't a modern office with glass walls; it's more of a traditional room with wooden shelves and a heavy desk. I don't go for the corporate style because it doesn't fit the way I work. I like to meet people face-to-face and talk things through. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat, and that slows things down, but I don't mind. Rajajinagar has changed a lot since I first moved here, but this corner near Navarang hasn't changed its character much. I wake up, get some coffee, and start on whatever needs fixing or organizing. It is a bit of a dusty place because of the road construction nearby, but we manage. I don’t have a website or anything like that; people usually just hear about me from someone else in the area. It is a straightforward way of living. I do my work, stay at my address, and keep things moving as well as I can.
