Karnataka Co-Operative Consumer Federation,Bangalore

We are over in J.P. Nagar, specifically at 599, 12th ‘A’ Cross, 8th Main in the 2nd Phase. The Karnataka Co-Operative Consumer Federation has been a part of this Bangalore neighborhood for quite a while. Our office is a busy place, but not in a flashy way. It’s more about the steady stream of people and paperwork that comes with being a co-operative. We have a lot of history in this building. The walls could probably tell a few stories if they wanted to. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anyone trying to sell you something the moment you walk in. It’s just desks, old ledgers, and people trying to keep things organized. The 2nd Phase of J.P. Nagar is a nice area, even if the traffic on the main roads can be a bit much during rush hour. We all know the local spots to get a quick snack or a coffee. Most of our day is spent coordinating different things and making sure the records are up to date. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we do. We don't use big words to describe ourselves. We are just a federation of people working together in a shared space. Some days are more productive than others, and sometimes the printer breaks down right when you need it. We just deal with it and keep going. It’s a very practical, everyday kind of environment here at the office, and we try to stay helpful to those who come by.
