You can find the studio over on Kundalahalli 100 Feet Road, at number 1533. It’s a pretty good spot because of the wide road, though the traffic can be a nightmare during rush hour. Being an artist’s space, it’s a bit of a mess most of the time. There are brushes in jars, half-finished pieces leaning against the walls, and the smell of paint is always hanging in the air. We don’t really worry about keeping things pristine because that’s not how the work gets done. The floors have a few stains here and there, but that’s just part of the character of the place. We have some large windows that let in a lot of light, which is great during the day, but it gets pretty hot in the late afternoon. There’s a small corner with an old sofa where we sit and think or talk about what to do next. It’s not a gallery where everything is perfect; it’s a working space where things actually happen. People sometimes pop their heads in to see what’s going on, and we don't mind as long as we aren't in the middle of something tricky. It’s a bit of a walk from the main bus stop, but it’s worth it for the space we have here. Just a simple studio on a busy road where we spend our time making things and cleaning up after ourselves when we're done.
