Jolly Ice Creams

Jolly Ice Creams is located at number 29 on the 2nd Main in Pillanna Garden, over in Hedge Nagar 2nd Stage. It is a fairly quiet street for the most part, but it really picks up in the evenings when families are out for a walk. We have several big freezers that have to stay running day and night. If the power cuts out, we have to hurry to get the backup power going because we can't afford to have the stock melt. It is actually a bit of a cold job to have. My hands are usually freezing because I am constantly reaching into the tubs to scoop out portions for customers. We have all the standard flavors that people expect to see, and we try to keep the containers full. Sometimes a certain type of ice cream sells out much faster than we planned, and we have to explain to the kids that it's gone for the day. Most people are pretty understanding and just pick another color. We are always mopping the floor because drips are basically unavoidable when you are serving cones. The shop itself is small, so it feels crowded very quickly if more than four people are inside at once. We have a couple of stools, but most folks just take their treats and head back out to the street. It is a nice way to spend the day, just keeping the scoops ready for whoever comes in.
