Jaya Provision Store

We’ve been running Jaya Provision Store for a good number of years now. You can find us at number 9 in Guruva Reddy Layout, right off Narayanapura Main Road in Dooravani Nagar. It’s not a very big shop, but we try to keep it stocked with the things people in the neighborhood actually need every day. We’ve got rice, various dals, soaps, and the usual snacks that kids like. It gets pretty crowded in the mornings when everyone is rushing to get milk and bread before work or school. My family helps out behind the counter, so there is usually someone here to help you find what you're looking for. The shelves are a bit crammed sometimes because we have to fit a lot into a small space. We don’t have a fancy computer system or anything like that. We just write everything down in our notebooks and use a simple calculator for the bills. The building is a bit old, and the paint is peeling in some corners, but it serves its purpose. We know most of our customers by their first names since they’ve been coming here as long as we’ve been open. It’s a busy life, but we like being part of the community here in Dooravani Nagar. Sometimes we run out of things if the delivery truck gets stuck in traffic, but we usually get it back in stock by the next day. It's just a regular local shop.
