Imran Kirana Store

Imran Kirana Store is a small grocery shop located at 59/32 on T M Road in Indira Nagar. We have been in this little pocket of the neighborhood for several years now. The shop is filled from floor to ceiling with all sorts of items. We have bags of lentils, bars of soap, and bottles of oil. It is a bit of a squeeze to get around the counter. When we have a lot of stock delivered, it gets even tighter. T M Road is usually busy with people walking to the nearby houses. Many of them pop in for things they forgot during their big shopping trip. We know most of our customers by name. We often hear about their families or what is happening on the street. It’s a very local kind of place. It is nothing like the big supermarkets you see on the main roads. We use a simple weighing scale. We keep our accounts in a thick ledger book. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. The sign outside has faded a bit in the sun. Still, everyone knows we are here. We open early every day. We stay open until the street lights come on. It’s just me and my nephew usually. We keep the shelves stocked and sweep the front step. We don't do any big promotions. We just try to have what people need when they need it.
