Ice Cream Parlour

The Ice Cream Parlour is located at 45/3 on the 2nd Cross of Residency Road, right near where it meets Mahatma Gandhi Road. Being in this part of the city means it’s always crowded and there is always something going on just outside our door. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and the building itself has a lot of history. It’s not a huge space, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside to keep the business running. Most days are a blur of scooping and packing orders while the city moves fast around us. We get all sorts of people, from tourists wandering around MG Road to office workers taking a quick break from their desks nearby. It’s a bit of a challenge keeping everything organized when it gets really busy, but we’ve found a rhythm that works for us over the years. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just show up, open the shop, and make sure the freezers are working properly so the ice cream stays the way it should. The location is the main thing, really, being tucked into that little cross street. It’s a bit of an old-school way of doing things, but it’s what we know, and we’re happy to stay right here in the center of town for the foreseeable future.
