Hip Hop India Dance Co is located in Koramangala Vi Bk 9. If you know Bangalore, you know Koramangala is where everything is happening. Our studio isn't some massive warehouse, but it’s got enough room for us to move. We spend our days teaching different routines and just playing music really loud. Most of the people who come here are just looking to learn a few moves or get some exercise that isn't boring. We don't have a strict dress code or anything. Just show up in something you can move in. The floor is usually scuffed from all the shoes, but that’s a good sign. Sometimes the music choice causes a bit of a debate among the instructors, but we usually settle on something with a good beat. It’s a lively place, especially in the evenings when the college kids and office workers finish their day and head over. We don't do those fancy competitions every weekend; we just focus on the dancing itself. You can hear the bass from the street sometimes. Koramangala has a lot of traffic, so getting here can be a pain, but once you're inside and the music starts, you forget about the road. It’s just a simple dance spot where we try to keep the energy up. We’ve been at this location for a while now and the locals seem to know us well.
