Guru Grocery

Over in Nagarbhavi 2nd Stage, Guru Grocery sits at the address 32-63-33 in the Vinayaka HBCS Layout. It is a quiet residential area, and our store is where the locals come to grab their daily essentials. We aren’t trying to compete with the big malls; we just want to have the right spices and grains ready when someone realizes they ran out in the middle of cooking. The shop is filled with the smell of loose tea and open bags of lentils. We have a small counter where we handle the payments, and it’s usually covered in small change and bags of snacks. The layout outside is nice, with trees and houses, so the walk to the store is pleasant for the neighbors. We try to keep everything organized, but with so many small items, the shelves can look a little cluttered sometimes. It’s just us here, stocking the milk in the morning and closing up the shutters at night. We don't have a marketing team or any grand plans. We just listen to what the aunties and uncles in the neighborhood are asking for and try to get it in stock for the next time they visit. It is a steady life, watching the kids grow up as they come in for chocolates and seeing the same faces year after year. It feels more like a community spot than just a business, and that is fine by us.
